Preparation of clay paste from crushed clay:
- Put the necessary amount of clay in a glass, wooden or earthenware container.
- Mix the clay with water (preferably spring or floral water)
- Let stand for a few moments
- If necessary, add water or clay
- Homogenize the dough using a wooden spatula (do not stir too much)
- The dough is ready to use
Plaster and poultice
- Apply a 2 to 3 cm layer directly on the skin or in the center of a very thin line, folding the corners
- Hold in place with a bandage
- Leave to act for 2 to 3 hours (never let the clay dry)
- After use, discard the clay and rinse the skin with lukewarm water.
